JE Fuller Announces Leadership Transition: Honoring the Legacy of Our Past Presidents and Welcoming Mike Kellogg

Tempe, AZ—1/8/2025 – JE Fuller, a leader in hydrology, geomorphology, and environmental planning, is excited to announce a leadership transition. Scott Ogden will step down after six years of remarkable service, and Mike Kellogg will take over as President/CEO.

“We announce with mixed emotions that Scott Ogden is stepping down as CEO of JE Fuller. Since joining in 2000, he has exemplified our culture of freedom and trust, leading us through successes and challenges. His leadership and experience have been invaluable. Scott served as CEO from 2019 to 2024 and will continue full-time as a project manager, offering his expertise to the leadership board. Thank you, Scott, for your dedication!” – COO Rob Lyons.

Under Scott’s visionary leadership, JE Fuller has experienced unprecedented growth and innovation. Scott successfully navigated the COVID pandemic while continuing to serve our clients well, added environmental/biological services to our resume, broadened our post-wildfire professional services, added new staff, including a long-awaited Marketing Manager, and increased our ownership roster.

“I cannot overstate the privilege and honor of getting to lead such a great company over the past 6 years.  I am continuously amazed and humbled by all who make JE Fuller a reliable and trusted resource to our clients and professional partners.  We are blessed with brilliant, innovative, and talented people!  JE Fuller is the best place to work, and I look forward to great things from the future leadership!” – Scott Ogden

Stepping into this role, Mike Kellogg brings over two decades of experience with JE Fuller as a project manager, project geomorphologist, and project hydrologist for geomorphic, hydrologic, and water resource studies and projects throughout the western U.S. and internationally for over 24 years.  He has a proven track record of strategic leadership, shares the company’s vision for continued growth, and is dedicated to building on the legacy of success established by outgoing president/CEO Scott Ogden.

“I am honored to follow in Scott’s footsteps and excited to lead JE Fuller into its next chapter,” said Mike Kellogg. “My entire professional career has been at JE Fuller, so our culture and traditions are a deep part of me. Together with our talented team, I look forward to advancing our mission and delivering value to our clients and communities.”

As JE Fuller embarks on this new era, we extend our heartfelt gratitude to our outgoing president/CEO, Scott Ogden, and a warm welcome to Mike Kellog. We are confident that the company will continue to thrive under Mike’s leadership.
